Bug fix
Highlighting and grayed out cards - We've fixed a couple of issues with highlighting and grayed out cards in the Sidebar. This happened with large documents and meta tags.

This release, we've made a couple of improvements to make sure Acrolinx for XMetaL keeps working where you need it.
Improvements
- Removed Internet Explorer components from the Sidebar - Previous versions of Acrolinx for XMetaL used Internet Explorer 11 components. This caused some hiccups when you tried to use the Sidebar without Internet Explorer 11. You won't have this issue anymore — we now use Microsoft Edge Chromium to show our Sidebar.
- Added support for newer XMetaL versions - We've added support for XMetaL 17 and 18.

Improvement
Support for XMetaL 16There's a new kid in town called XMetaL 16. We've updated Acrolinx for XMetaL to work smoothly with this new XMetaL version.
The update process is slightly different from previous versions. So, make sure to follow the update instructions in our Install, Uninstall, or Update Acrolinx for XMetaL Author guide.
Known Behavior
Cursor Blinks Before Highlighting an IssueAcrolinx uses character matching to highlight content. Because of this, you might notice that the cursor blinks before it highlights an issue in an XML element.

Bug Fix
Acrolinx Not Scrolling to IssuesSometimes when you checked a long text, Acrolinx didn't automatically scroll to issues in the text when you clicked on an issue card in the Sidebar. Instead, you had to manually scroll to find the highlighted issue. We've fixed this. Acrolinx is back to scrolling as expected.

We’ve updated our integration to include support for the new release of XMetaL 15. With this added support, we've dropped support for XMetaL 12.
Bug Fix
Slow Selection and ReplacementWe've fixed a bug where Acrolinx would take a very long time to replace some issues in the Sidebar. Replacement should work as expected now.
