What you should know about installing, uninstalling, and updating.
Before You Install
Check our Compatibility Guide if you want to know whether Acrolinx for WordPress works with your local platforms.
Before you install, make sure you have the following:

Install
You'll need administrator rights for both Acrolinx and WordPress to install and configure Acrolinx for WordPress.
To install Acrolinx for WordPress, do the following:

Go to Plugins > Add New

Click Upload Plugin.

Search for "Acrolinx" in the Search Plugins box, and click Install Now.

Click Activate Plugin.
Update
Planning to update WordPress? You’ll need to uninstall Acrolinx first. Check out our Compatibility Guidebefore you reinstall Acrolinx to make sure it works with your new editor version. We usually adapt Acrolinx to the latest version of WordPress.
To update Acrolinx for WordPress, you'll need to uninstall the previous version and install a new version.
Uninstall
To uninstall or deactivate Acrolinx for WordPress, do the following:

Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.

Search for "Acrolinx" in the Search Plugins box, and click Deactivate.

Click Delete.
