Before You Install
Check our Compatibility Guide if you want to know whether Acrolinx for Firefox works with your local platforms.
Before you install, make sure you have the following:

Install
Acrolinx for Firefox is available on your Acrolinx downloads web page. You need a customer account to sign in. If you don't have a customer account, then contact your Acrolinx project consultant
Here's how to install Acrolinx for Firefox:

In a browser window, open the Acrolinx downloads page and sign in.

Download the Acrolinx Firefox Add-on.

Open Firefox and go to Tools > Add-ons and Themes to open the Add-ons Manager, or type about:addons in the address bar.

Drag and drop the downloaded Acrolinx file to the Add-ons Manager page. Click Add when you see the Add Acrolinx Browser Integration notification.

When the installation is done, click Okay.
Update
To update Acrolinx for Firefox, download and install the new version. You don't need to remove the older version first, just follow the install steps above.
Check out the Acrolinx for Firefox release notes to make sure you're using the most up-to-date version of Acrolinx for Firefox.
Uninstall
To uninstall Acrolinx for Firefox, follow these steps:

Open Firefox and go to Add-ons or type about:addons in the address bar.

Find Acrolinx for Firefox and click Remove.
