Version 1.5 (24 January 2024)
Improvements
- More contextual information - The text content of Figma nodes now comes with more contextual information, including details about the structure of paragraphs and lists. We've updated Acrolinx to align with this and improve checking behavior. Get the updated Figma Content Profile to benefit from these changes.
Previous Versions
Version 1.4 (7 August 2023)
This release, we've made it easier for you to check content in Figma.
Platform Support
Acrolinx for Figma and FigJam requires:
- Acrolinx Platform version 2022.03
Dropped Support
We no longer support Acrolinx for Figma 1.2 and earlier.
Improvements
- Improved Checking Experience - No more waiting when you try to check large files in Figma! Instead of automatically running a check on all elements in a file, Acrolinx now only checks elements that you select.
To run a check, you'll need to select at least one text element.
Version 1.3 (1 September 2022)
This release comes with a big improvement! You can now use the Check Selection feature with frames. On top of that, we've added a timeout for large files.
Platform Support
Acrolinx for Figma and FigJam requires:
- Acrolinx Platform 2021.12.1 or later
Improvements
Check Selection Now Checks Frames
Good news – you can now check frames and individual components with Acrolinx for Figma. This makes it easier to run a quick check on a specific component and helps you split up checking for larger files. When you're ready to check, just select frames from the left menu in Figma, or click a frame directly on the page.
We suggest that you use the Check Selection feature when your document has a lot of frames or components.
Timeout Introduced for Longer Checks
When you want to check large files in Figma, a regular Acrolinx check doesn't always cut it. That's why we've added a check timeout. The next time you try to check a large file, you'll see a message in the Sidebar that suggests you use the Check Selection feature.
Version 1.2 (23 June 2022)
This might be a small release, but we know you've been waiting for it. It's all about child elements this time. Acrolinx now checks child elements in FigJam, and we also fixed a bug where Acrolinx wasn’t checking child elements in Figma.
Platform Support
Acrolinx for Figma and FigJam requires:
- Acrolinx Platform 2021.12.1 or later.
Dropped Support
We've dropped support for macOS Mojave.
Improvements
Check Child Elements in FigJam
You now can check text child elements in FigJam. We've added support so that Acrolinx now can read and check these elements.
Bug Fixes
Acrolinx Didn’t Check All Child Elements in Figma
Acrolinx wouldn’t check all child elements. What happened was that Acrolinx would ignore text in buttons and other child elements. This works now as expected – Acrolinx includes all child elements in a check.
